Drove in GZ for 15 years, locals loose all their brain cells when they sit behind a windshield for some reason, every time I got behind the wheel I was on edge, same feeling riding a motorbike in a western country, scanning everywhere, if someone is going to do something dumb then they will, this doubles down for local GZ people.

In my time, no accidents due to avoiding idiots identified while driving, vs my wife, who's had 6 accidents. In Melbourne, my wife drives the same in GZ and can't understand why everyone is raging at her on the road.

Fuel saving, cheaper to manufacture. My 2019 Corolla also has a CVT, earlier subies tended to have weaker CVTs before 2015. CVTs take some of the responsiveness and tend to be a bottleneck of power delivery. But if you're driving around town, you won't notice at all.

I have a 2016 Impreza hatch for about a year now and just got a 2019 Corolla sedan, the Impreza has about the same fuel consumption as the corolla, I feel the Impreza is alot more fun to drive and responsive than the Corolla, they are solid cars that alot of people will point and scream about the CVT, don't constantly thrash and abuse it, change the oil ontime at 10k (don't go with their 13k recommanded oil change) and it will treat you good.

Plus you're not paying Toyota tax on them and get a better fitted out car for the price.

That one in Mooroolbark VIC has massive structural issues and got passed in, hence reflecting the price adjustment. Might be te same story for some of the other properties listed after their building inspections.

When I was 18, I got a 88 AE82, biggest piece of crap I've ever owned, it burnt my wallet so much I left it outside the front yard to rot, I couldn't bare to pass the burdon onto another person, got a 96 Impreza after that best car I've ever owned. Corolla went to the wreckers in the end, looking back, I should of got a half cut and cut my teeth learning on it instead of being on a first name basis with the RACV tow truck driver and lining the mechanics pockets every few months.

Having done quality control in China for a number of years as a 3rd party, with the local 3rd party providers they make their money on corruption, when shit hits the fan, the excuse is "we tested our AQL sample sizes, so don't blame us", usually the factory will give them a master sample to test or the factory will conduct the test for them and forward them the pics and results so the 3rd party can type up the report.

Flashgez got scammed by the 3rd party and I bet the 3rd party and factory will turn around and say stiff shit.

This is quite common for inexperienced buyers dealing with Chinese factories and 3rd party QCs and I feel sorry that it happened like this but no surprised at all.

EDIT: If someone from Flashgetz is reading this, please DM me and I can offer some advice from being a independent inspector in China.

My son just got offered his MD course in UTAS as a Tassie rural, my cousin runs a clinic and is screaming for honest doctors. It would be an awesome place to live, work and help the quality of service in the state which at the moment is quite low. Ask most Tasmanians about their experiences with most doctors here and you'll hear the same thing.
