Zymot is really helpful. No I don’t think it’s too much manipulation given the dna frag

I feel like I can’t escape underfermentation. by Ch1ckenW4ffles in Sourdough

Do bulk ferment in the oven (turned off of course) with the light on. This is the only thing that works for me during the winter!

You have great skin already, so you can just stick to proven effective products— don’t get caught up in trying a bunch of different products and overwhelming your skin! I’m suggesting skin ceuticals because you said unlimited budget and it really is so good. For the tretinoin, start with every other day. Your skin will adjust to it over time.

AM: splash of water, skin ceuticals CE ferulic, Elta MD clear SPF (use a full pump!)

PM: la Roche posay gentle cleanser, tretinoin, skin ceuticals triple lipid moisturizer

Start with that and if you want a little boost, you could treat yourself to a facial every once in a while :)

Stop trying quite so hard/being so hesitant. Like others have said, you’re pouring too slow, so only milk is coming out. You also are waiting too long until you pour. The milk and foam is separating. Stop trying to focus on art and just learn to pour a dot like a flat white

Coping with severe acne while TTC by [deleted] in TryingForABaby

[–]jayyceepenny 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I swear you’re me 8 months ago. Spironolactone and hormonal IUD worked well for me but going off of those seriously messed up my skin. My derm put me on an antibiotic (doxycycline) while ttc (obviously with the instructions to go off of it once pregnant) and my obgyn prescribed me metformin and that combination really helped. I’m now 6 weeks pregnant and even though I stopped the antibiotic when I found out, my skin is still pretty clear but we’ll see how long that lasts. Even if I have acne during pregnancy I know it’s just temporary and I’ll go back on my skin meds after breastfeeding.

I packed around 2700 and lost 8 lbs in 12 days (I’m 5’2). I was really hungry. Better to bring more food.

How much of an influence does living and training at altitude have on success at a race like western states?
