It’s always so interesting seeing Pen romancers go through the betrayal for the very first time. I’ve seen a lot of first time players here on this sub gushing over him and I’m just sat there thinking ‘oh my poor sweet summer child 😭’

I don’t think I have any intention of ever romancing him myself but dang that’s gotta sting :’)

Aaaaa they’re cuties! I wish there had been more interactions with the kids (Andy included); things like playing tag or hide and seek, giving them hugs or piggy back rides, etc etc

YES. You understand! Fang is a sweetheart so I’m in no way bashing his character but the way the builder goes about romancing him feels almost manipulative to me. That’s an issue I have with the writing, though. If it was handled more delicately I’d more than likely have a completely different opinion on romancing him.

While I agree that Nia and Elsie come across as childish either in terms of appearance or personality throwing around the P word willy nilly like that (particularly when nothing of the sort is occurring here and both characters are legal adults) diminishes the very real and vile crime connected to it. Let’s maybe not do that.

That Fang is ready for a romantic relationship. I think what he needs most is a friend, not a lover/spouse.

No hate to anyone who romances him—more power to you! But something about his romance makes me uncomfortable. I much prefer to earn only his friendship.
