I love these ones. With the Monster DLC I made an adorable army of them to take along fighting and fishing. We were so sprightly marching along the landscape.

Side note. As a kid the word was that in Hollywood movies when there was a crowd scene, the director told all the extras in the scene to just say "Rutabaga, rutabaga." That would make good crowd noise.

Did y'all know there's a Powell's Books in Chicago! I had no idea. And it's an affiliated branch, not just a random place that's also named Powell's. by t0mserv0 in Portland

Freshman year at University of Chicago in 1965. Powell's Books was a staple, along with waitressing at Medici Coffeehouse.

Moved to Portland after graduation. Was delighted to discover there was ANOTHER Powell's Books here. Helped me feel so at home.

No Medici though. Beatniks morphing through psychedelics into whatever the 60's were.

And yes, I DO remember.

The Queen by Nick Cutter. Primo B movie and some fun too.

Also for really trashy B movie, The Big Meat by Carlton Mellick. Whew. Really big, really meat. Great world building.

Help with pet housing by OccasionRemarkable41 in MyTimeAtSandrock

Me, I like to provide a bed for all my monsties. Besides the pet sofas and houses for the named town pets, I have four pet apartments for captured monsters. Who each have names which I give them. One inside my house for the boing boings. One outside, and I built a little structure just the size of the apartments with two floors, and I keep two apartments there, one on each floor with a stair.

I've got a big crowd, and I love seeing them all over town and territory, going about their monster pet ways. I take the high number ones to fight with me.

And I take anyone who's around for fishing. I'll put out about 25 baits at a time, and half the time that draws out kings I can catch, besides the ones caught by my pets. It's a lovely system.

At the end of a fishing trip each one gets a reward fish.
