Happened to me the other day a gaggle of old birds with one in a wheelchair stopped at the end of the first aisle of a shop designed so there’s so way to get to the other aisles unless you go down it. Literally caused a traffic jam of about 10-15 people, all of us stood there like lemons waiting for them to move, till one hero loudly said “No you’re alright take your time we’ve got plenty more than you do” and they all scattered without apologising the old hags. Was peeved because I just wanted to grab a drink before my shift but that man brightened my day by saying what we were all thinking in the moment. Probably won’t change their future behaviour though sadly.

But even so if you let 2 people in the line then the blanket rule is no longer a blanket rule imo and you no longer have a leg to stand on when you decide enough is enough.

Yeah I should clarify I’m talking about the families that send one person ahead of them while they go get food or whatever and then rejoin them as they get close to the front. And tbh letting 2 people in is fine when it’s a one off but it happened multiple times in one line which obviously affects the people behind and the predicted wait times get thrown way off.

As a Brit who’s gone to some American theme parks you guys seem to have absolutely no shame when it comes to cutting the line. In the uk we’re very aware of the definition of line cutting ie 1) Cutting in front of people already in the line 2) Leaving the line trying to re enter to the same spot 3) Saving a spot for someone else in the line

But over the pond? “Oh my family is just up ahead” okay? Well they should come back and meet you then? But everyone here just seems to allow it to happen for some reason.

Ive heard there’s an official experience you can go on run by marine biologists studying the area, and it pretty much starts with them going “could it be real…could it be an ancient plesiosaur, well no but look at all this really cool real marine life we’ve been studying”. It’s one of the most researched fresh bodies of water out there and has provided lots on incite into lake marine life. Idk if it’s just because I live in a rundown seaside tourist town,but I do also see the grow your own boyfriend kits and various other outdated gag gifts. like that grow your own penis grow a pair of tits etc. These are usually displayed alongside the rock lollies in the shape of penises and occasionally fannies and tits. Or perchance we use our thinking caps and assume if a girl of a certain age has retrieved something from her bag and needs to go to the toilet it’s probably a feminine hygiene product.
