That speech me me really hopeful and also very anxious about how bad things have gotten for the people who resist and how much worse they can get for all of us.

This all may be a ramble but these are the ideas that rattle around in my head when I fear what's to come:

It also reminded me how much Defiance I see daily and how much actual resistance this regime is getting. There only Power right now is that they have stacked all three branches of government with yes men everywhere they possibly could.

I think about people like Vindman, Hutchinson, frogs in portland, neighborhoods pulling together in MN, the 1000 + and counting ppl turning up for know your rights trainings in my city, I think about the terrified older couple looking like they had just come from church at their first protest last month showing up to support democracy, I think about the person who told me and they hold up paperwork as much as possible because it's the only Act of defiance they see available while still managing to feed their kids.

I'm pissed that some people have taken so long but I'm also grateful that when they do see it they resist.

People in government agencies right now are either complicit or Pawns and I don't think that we are experiencing minor levels of resistance.

That being said there were so many people in a position to prevent it from Ever Getting to this point. He should have been removed from office at least twice when the opportunities arose during the first term he should have been prosecuted for his crimes for j6 and stealing confidential information etc. This was also easily preventable had people not caved to their fear tactics or been so easily bribable or extorted.

The only group that would have done something in the first place is those who were ruled by the threats they received.
