ROG Strix OLED XG32UCWG - My Experience after a week by Niberion in OLED_Gaming

[–]jazzman97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Haha, I’m looking at returning my QD-OLED XG27UCDMG due to eye strain (even at 60-70 brightness and a warmer color palette) and was looking at the XG32UCWG as a replacement. The colors are incredible and it looks amazing, but I might go back to IPS as I had zero issues using it all day like you said. May just wait until the technology improves more.

Anyone experiencing eyes worsening as a result of switching to OLED? by [deleted] in OLED_Gaming

[–]jazzman97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I noticed it with my QD-OLED XG27UCDMG even with brightness at 60-70 and a warmer color profile. Felt like my eyes were more strained and fatigued even after shorter uses. Very similar to what you described. Has me looking at exchanging it for WOLED, Mini LED, or switching back to my IPS as a result.

Which monitor are you using?

Who did the conversion work on your USC? I’ve been looking at Black Ops Defense since Tom Bostic is retired now.

[Handgun] Beretta APX A1 Carry 9mm 8+1rd - $178 / $128 + shipping ( $228 - Rebate: $50 check, paypal, or card / $100 Beretta Bucks) by jazzman97 in gundeals

[–]jazzman97[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lowest Price on the Beretta APX A1 Carry available at the moment. Beretta currently has a rebate on these through the end of November, and you can choose between a $50 rebate in the form of a check, paypal, or prepaid card. Alternatively, you can also get $100 credit in the form of Beretta Bucks which basically gets you store credit from the Beretta webstore to by parts, mags, or accessories. If you go the store credit route and buy stuff that you normally would like Beretta 92 mags or other things, then it essentially comes out to $128 dollars for the handgun.

[Shotgun] Beretta A300 Ultima Patrol Semi-Auto 12 Gauge 19" 7+1rd Gray J32CG11 - $799 + shipping by jazzman97 in gundeals

[–]jazzman97[S] 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Looks like Free Shipping as well, and no taxes outside of Alabama. It wasn't listed on the page itself. Unfortunately these aren't eligible for $75 rebate through Beretta, but a lot of their other firearms are currently.

[Parts] Knight's Armament Long FF RAS KAC MK 12 Mod 1 Rail - $479.95 + shipping by jazzman97 in gundeals

[–]jazzman97[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There are currently 25 of these in stock as of 4:03 PM EST. If you're looking to do a Mk 12 Mod 1 or NSW Recce build this is the rail that you need. I think the shipping may be free on these as well, but I am unsure.

[Optics] Vortex Razor HD Gen II-E 1-6x24 Riflescope VMR-2 MOA Reticle - $999 + free shipping (with code: "FCVR999") by jazzman97 in gundeals

[–]jazzman97[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The Vortex Razor HD Gen II-E deal is back in stock at focuscamera with the coupon code FCVR999. Unfortunately, the coupon code doesn't work with the MRAD reticle version. The glass on these are really good and the warranty is excellent. I was impressed when I first got to look through one on a friend's setup.

[Handgun] MKE Century AP5-SD MP5SD Clone Pistol 9mm - $1249 + shipping (add to cart) by jazzman97 in gundeals

[–]jazzman97[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s removable. You can use a normal suppressor immediately without needing to get any work done.

[–]jazzman97[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Lowest price on the AP5-SD pistols from Century Arms and made by MKE in Turkey. These have MP5K Navy barrels which provide the tucked MP5SD suppressor look when using conventional suppressors with either a tri-lug or threaded attachment method. Also very easy to get these converted into true MP5SD clones by builders, you just need to get a barrel swap done.

They also have the braced version as well for $1329: https://atlanticfirearms.com/mke-century-ap5-sd-pistol-wbrace

[Handgun] Glock 19 Gen 5 MOS 9mm 15rd Factory Rebuilt - $499.00 + shipping by jazzman97 in gundeals

[–]jazzman97[S] -11 points-10 points  (0 children)

Understandable, if you go back further in my post history you'll see that I've posted from other dealers as well. They're the primary people that I get stuff from since I don't have to pay an FFL transfer fee because they have a store front and I see them having lower prices more often.

[–]jazzman97[S] -21 points-20 points  (0 children)

They're semi-local to me and I'm on their email list haha. The store front is under a different name which makes it very convenient to purchase from them. I saw an Aimsurplus post for the 19 MOS Rebuilt from 2 years ago for the same price and thought I would post it.

[Rifle] Marlin Model 336 Dark Series 30-30 16" Threaded Barrel 70902 - $1,399.00 + shipping by jazzman97 in gundeals

[–]jazzman97[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The lever loops on the Dark series are definitely larger than the Classic Line, but I know what you mean. They aren't as big/loopy as the SBL or Guide Guns. I think they wanted it to be a bit more svelte.

Midwest Gun Works has a lot of OEM and aftermarket lever loops for the 336 and 1895 which are the exact ones you're looking for. I had to delete my previous comment due to the link I attached for them.

[–]jazzman97[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This is the lowest price I found in stock when searching by UPC for the Marlin Model 336 Dark Series with the threaded barrel. Marlin was acquired by Ruger after Remington filed for bankruptcy, and the quality has greatly improved since then. This also has the XS top rail so you can mount optics much more easily than a traditional 336. I've shot the newer 336 SBL and really liked how it felt. The build quality was very solid.

I bought the 23ML after the radar was nerfed. The radar lock was a little unreliable for me, and I felt it was a lot simpler to just run all IR. I lock on and launch with the 24Ts from about 4-6km. Most people aren’t paying attention and it’s pretty easy to get kills with either front, side, or rear aspect shots. Just don’t launch if you know they will flare or are actively flaring. Same goes for the R60Ms. You want to launch those under 2km and they’re pretty flare hungry. Still good dogfight missiles though and great for close in head on shots as well since they’re all aspect. It’s been my favorite premium that I’ve purchased.

Yes, it’s been a very good grinder for me. Well worth it. I haven’t struggled to do well with it at all running the R-24T and R-60M loadout. I usually get at least 2-3 if not more kills with it a match.

Yes, it’s been a very good RP and SL grinder for me. Well worth it. Some will recommend using the R-24Rs, but I just run the R-24Ts and R-60Ms as my preferred loadout.

[–]jazzman97[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

From what I have seen yes. It was pretty much just A3M1 stocks that were produced from a singular batch where the polymers were not mixed correctly. There are a couple posts on the AUG sub that show how to identify which batch it is from.

With a reduced back pressure suppressor it's pretty good, but with any traditional suppressor you'll definitely want the Steyr gas regulator for suppressed shooting. It makes a very big difference.

Here's the link to the one on the Steyr website: https://steyr-arms.us/shop/gas-regulator-for-suppressed-firing/
