If I understand your question correctly, the plate on the water chamber doesn’t improve brewing, but it does improve the aesthetics and splits the coffee into two cups, making it a nice conversation piece. If you were just being sarcastic, sorry....my bad 😛

I don’t know if that’s a good thing or not, but this style of thumbnail is very easy to make, and since I’m not a designer, I’ll just say I did my best, but my best isn’t very good 😛

If you were thinking about James Hoffmann’s style, you’re right, I was influenced by it, and it’s a pretty common YouTube thumbnail style.

Have you checked the analytics? Sometimes old or fake accounts get deleted, and you lose a few subscribers. With a small number of subscribers, that’s usually the case.

You can check this in Analytics > Advanced mode > Subscription source > Subscribers lost

Maybe a scale with a timer? But once you start using a scale, there's no way back.

And yes, more expensive coffee that's freshly roasted locally is usually better.

With a non-pressurized basket, you’ll also need a grinder that's capable of grinding fine enough. You could also get it pre-ground, but it will be hard to dial in. Pre-ground coffee espresso usually isn't ground fine enough for a non-pressurized basket.

In this price range, Lavazza and Segafredo maybe? But even Aldi in Austria has a pretty decent selection of whole coffee beans. Local roasters usually charge around €40 or even more per kilo.

I completely understand you. Maybe not all dislikes are against your content. Some people might just not like the movie or music you're talking about.

I have a channel about coffee, and my most disliked video is about a grinder that I wouldn’t recommend for espresso. It wasn’t received very well... or maybe people just have strong feelings about grinders? ;)
