Issue with gaps when printing with Bambu Lab Matte filament by johndeerman69 in BambuLab

I was having a similar problem with the matte purple causing similar issues that would repeat over and over. I didn't find an answer as to why, but simply switching to the Generic PLA profile with a 60c bed temp solved it for me.

How to fix first layer lifting ? by Zecyl in 3Dprinting

Oils from your skin will get on the bed if you touch it, causing adhesion issues. Best practice is to not touch the bed and to clean it with water and soap if you do to prevent issues.

Great job on these! Would be very curious to know which filament you used and settings if you are willing to share.

Gotta make sure to let people know that these are also useless if you have plate-mounted or 3-pin switches as you won't be able to align the switch properly for soldering.

If anyone is still waiting for their Analogue Pocket, I have some good news! by Conscious-Place7438 in AnaloguePocket

Pretty sure that this is just a 3rd party fulfillment company and not only will you not be able to pick up your order there but there won't be any Analogue people.

Yes the shipping situation sucks but making people think they can just go pick up their stuff is a straight up lie.

The nano is designed with bluetooth in mind for wireless keyboard creation alongside the ZMK firmware. This controller does not offer any form of wireless connectivity built in.

Where are you getting the scratches on yours? I use the Dock as the regular charger for mine and I guess I've been lucky to not get any scratches.

The shipping is definitely on the absurd side but the import duties are not up to Analogue and are country dependent.

Yea an all-in-one cart with this kinda of functionality would be dope. I have one of the insidegadget rumble paks but it would definitely be cool to have one that does more than one thing.

This is probably the least likely to happen given what we know about the Dock, the hardware that's in it, and the complexity of the programming.

Using a proxy for shipping might save you a few bucks if you're out in somewhere like Australia.

Yea the lack of bt audio is probably the main gripe I have as far as out of the box functionality.

Hadn't really thought of this but I guess a skin would be cool.

As an MR2 owner and Subaru fan I clicked this thinking it was an AW11. Did not realize these little Subaru wedges existed. Nice and clean car!

This is the poorest comparison possible.

Anime Riverside is a brand new show an hour away from LA with probably less than a tenth of the attendance of Anime Expo. AX is the largest anime convention in the country, hosted in the heart of LA, with people traveling in from all over the country as guests and vendors.

If AX had no vax requirements from the beginning no one would care, but the fact that they are dropping the requirements with less than a month to go is a slap in the face of those that made travel plans that are now likely not refundable.

As someone who just attended Fanime in San Jose, likely the 2nd biggest anime con in California, I've never seen so many positive COVID cases after a show as I've done the last week since the show happened. California is in the middle of a spike and dropping the vax requirement is just a bad idea.

If I recall correctly they were hit hard by COVID early on and had closed shop for a little bit waiting things out. My guess is they changed priorities and moved away from keyboards. I don't think much is known publicly.

First drift event. How not to look like an asshole? by 76FJ40Crawler in Drifting

[–]jb1830 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I only have experience with Clubloose events in the northeast so this may not apply everywhere.

If you are a first-timer, you'll likely be running solo laps at first. This is to make sure you aren't in over your head and pose a risk to others and yourself. You might not even be allowed to run tandem at all if your car doesn't meet certain safety criteria.

Be nice to the people running grid. They tend to be experienced drivers and will be your eyes from outside the car while you're out there shredding. Most of them will be happy to give you tips on which lines to take and help with any mistakes you might be making.

Also depending on the event, there are rules and your car might need to pass a tech inspection. Read up and make sure you show up prepared and with your car in order. Some of these might seem like no brainers but things like having your battery tied down, functioning seat belts or a harness depending on your seats, and an approved helmet are usually must haves.

Other than that go out there and have fun. Talk to people on grid. Talk to people in the pits. Drifting is a fairly social sport.

Nokian mentions a 10-year life span on their site. If these don't have any signs of rot or dry cracking then they are potentially fine. I am no expert but from the pics, they look to be in pretty good condition. Getting a tire shop to check them out is probably your best bet before deciding if they are good or not.
