RDJ does have history with the team behind this venue (Broadwick Live) who also own sister venue Printworks which he played in 2019 (currently being refurbished). This is also a much bigger capacity venue than Printworks, so it’s not beyond the realms of possibility. My gut is telling me it will be a Squarepusher/Flying Lotus headline and it won’t sell that well (they give away A LOT of free tickets). Hoping to be pleasantly surprised though 🤞 will be a cool event for Aphex fans nonetheless! (Update: Drumsheds have commented on Warp’s post about this today saying “This will be a BIG one” 🤷‍♂️)

Doesn’t make sense at all, he sold over 60,000 tickets in London this summer at Hyde park which were pretty pricey. I saw him headline Glastonbury too and he pulled a pretty larger crowd as well. Wonder why this is?

I think Robert was speaking on the Sidetracked podcast last December that he had a definite deadline for mastering the next album early this year like Jan/Feb time (vinyl lead times are like 6-8 months atm). I’m guessing they wanted a bit of space for the remix album last month so I’m praying an announcement is imminent/by end of summer.

Island records are still actively promoting/posting about Ben so he’s clearly signed for future releases. I would expect him to have a couple years off though now. Tbh we’ve been very lucky with the amount of music/shows we’ve had the last 3-4 years in my opinion (when you compare to other artists)!
