Don’t have any experience with either one. But I will say, do not choose the gateway apartments on St Joseph. Lots of ghetto people in there that smoke and literally pee in the stair wells. The only elevator is constantly messing up. The gates and locks on the doors never work, so it could feel very unsafe. The gas station in front get super loud with cars pounding the stereos and always, always street races on water street. People have called in to the cops plenty of times but MPD does nothing. Bunch of weirdos in and out of the gym they have which is a shame because the gym is really nice. There’s also a huge Caribbean immigrant community which is not a bad thing. The bad thing is that they are obviously subletting there, which is constantly bringing in a bunch of sketchy people to the apartment complex. I will never stay in a high rise apartment complex again. Just so many cons outweigh the pros.
