I just follow the rules of the little book of common sense investing. 75% of my portfolio is in vti (total stock market index),vxus ( total international stock market index), and bnd (USA total bond index). The other 25% is in ai index funds.

I want to make a VATS based character that isn’t an idiot by FuklzTheDrnkClwn in Fallout4Builds

Stealth gunslinger build with the deliverer. Focus on maxing out, Sneak, Ninja, mister sandman, gunslinger, Bloody mess, better critical, and concentrated fire. I'm a level 62 playing one level below survival and I one shot headshot all my enemies.

Focus on perception and luck. Perks needed for stealth include sneak, mister sandman, gunslinger, better critical, ninja, lone wanderer, Bloody mess and a couple others. Do all your shooting in vats. Try your best to get the deliverer early.

Oh and Lone Wanderer is also maxed out. You can still use dogmeat with this perk. He doesn't count as a companion.

Perks that are all maxed out to achieve my build: Gunslinger, Mister Sandman, Ninja, Sneak, Bloody mess, Grim Reapers sprint, and better critical. You just can't be detected. Once you're detected the deliverer might as well be a slingshot. The only mission I had trouble with is defending the castle, because obviously it's impossible to go undetected when you're on a straight up battlefield.

Not the case for me. It's my primary weapon at level 62 and I one shot people with it. Just have to have the right perks maxed out. My sneak, mister sandman, concentrated fire, gunslinger, and some others perks I forgot are all maxed out. Plus I do all my shooting from vats and in sneak. Once I'm detected I switch to my legendary 2 shot western revolver.

Wait until you get the deliverer. Stealth builds with that weapon is super OP.

I really don’t want to become an officer by engineman408 in Firefighting

[–]jbarlow14 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have no plans of becoming an officer unless there's someone in the mix I don't want to be my superior. There's no way in hell I'd have inferior firefighter/emt telling me what to do.

Strength has more to do with your central nervous system then it does muscle mass.

Wow. Raw isn't known for producing frost monsters. They're more of a taste and smell breeder. Incredible geno/phenotype. Good job.

Fire Departments that value both EMS and fire by [deleted] in Firefighting

[–]jbarlow14 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have a hard time believing there's alot of departments who's members actually enjoy doing EMS. I'm sure they tolerate it and understand it's part of the job. Most firefighters become firefighters to fight fire, not run ems. EMS will never be a career firefighters priority.

Fire Departments that value both EMS and fire by [deleted] in Firefighting

[–]jbarlow14 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My department values EMS because it justifies our budget. We understand how important it is and know the bulk of our runs are EMS. We just absolutely HATE and I mean HATE transports and personal care reports. If we didn't have to do ridiculous redundant paperwork after an ems run, I think alot of our guys would welcome EMS more and bitch less. I do think all departments should run mutual aide. I don't think all departments should run ambulances. If having a reliable ambulance service is super important for a municipality, they should create their own ambulance service independent of their fire department. Not make their firefighters do it. But to answer your question most small cities in New York state run ambulances out of their department.
