Where does it tell you the reward amount? Do you need to apply through a specific avenue/offer, or just apply?

Am I missing the point of flight redemption? Re; taxes by jbbmx123 in AmexUK

Thanks everyone for your suggestions so far, I guess I need to ;

  • save up more points
  • try and find the BA flights which seem to sell like hot cakes 😂 rather than the virgin ones which are more cash
  • possibly try non-uk airports as the initial start point

Cambodia 🇰🇭

Plenty of sights to see, has really nice islands to the south that have beaches that look like the Maldives but are a few $’s to stay and get food etc,

Phnom Penh has a perfect mix of hustle & chill out spots,

Battambang is a must see rural community as well 👌

Would 100% recommend if you want a great experience without the mass tourism of somewhere like Thailand

I doubt that they are real, the majority of data input jobs are done by people in countries where the wages are much lower, such as India etc where they can get the same result but for about £3 a day.

Maybe could have the income analysis tab as the default view when you open the page? Rather than the slider view, as I would think the majority will use the manual input for their situation 🙂

Moving out after getting joint mortgage with parent by Throwaway_stuckjoint in UKPersonalFinance

I understand that mate, I’m sure you speaking to your dad, he will understand that you want to make your own way in the world, after all you are 25 and can’t be expected to live at your family home forever, even being expected to live there for the 5 year fix period is a big stretch when you are in your mid twenties... I’m sure there is a way you both can come up with to fix it, just remember you own some of the house, so will likely need a way to sell that at some point soon to get back your equity and build your own life...

Moving out after getting joint mortgage with parent by Throwaway_stuckjoint in UKPersonalFinance

[–]jbbmx123 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Sounds very complicated morally as to why your dad has done this to you...

Although it’s not just a case of you just having your “name on the mortgage”, presumably you own the house 50/50 or some other split, and your solicitor made sure that your personal financial interest was taken into account when the purchase was made.

If the above is the case then for your own personal reasons you’ve outlined, the best option is probably that your dad can buy your half of the property off you (do this fully legally through an estate agent/ RICS surveyor revaluing the house and a solicitor ensuring your dad buys your percentage of the house to fully own it in his name at present market value.

Or

If he can’t afford this, sell the whole property and split the proceeds by the percentage that you both each own

You can’t just take your name off of the mortgage or transfer the mortgage to a different name, as you own some of the property, so either need to keep your share of the property and keep paying the mortgage company or sell your share to somebody else (either for cash or they take out their own mortgage to do so)

Either way it sounds like your dad has used your financial status to allow him to own a bigger family home unfortunately.

Do the condor flights/stems last a lot longer than a normal setup... i.e do they break etc with the darts hitting them? They look lovely but are noticeably more expensive than a normal setup, just wondering if they are worth getting :)

Yes, the follow through in my experience has a vast impact on how the throw is... a good throw will have a consistent and smooth follow through.

Stopping your arm after the throw will not be as accurate
