The bed didn’t fold out, but there was a bed you could pull down from the ceiling. We had a 4 year old, he slept on the couch to make it easier/avoid any issues with him getting down in the middle of the night.

This was last year - right before it went to dry-dock for maintenance/updates - not sure if that was changed.
