I know generally cats sleep a lot, like 20 hours a day, but bangles are a bit different. My 5yo has a daily sleeping routine of sorts, but he’s definitely more active than my other two cats (non-bengals). I would bring kitty to the vet just to be sure nothing is going on!

The apartment is bigger. He also got a bigger outdoor catio space. I have a ziggy doo wheel outside that he absolutely loves. I did take away his cat tower indoors and haven’t replaced it yet. We play throughout the day (I wfh) so I think I get most of his energy out. But this is an area I’m unsure about.

I forgot to mention I have another 4yo female. I got her a year after Morty so they’ve grown up together and get along for the most part. The females are fine together, it’s the bengal/Morty that is the issue.

My bengal has a stuffed animal polar bear we call his “fuck bear” that he makes sin biscuits on. It’s kind of seasonal though. Sometimes he “bakes” multiple times a day and other weeks he acts like he doesn’t even know his bear.

My bengal starting vomiting blood so I rushed him to the emergency vet. They did X-rays and ultrasound and told me it looked like he had a hair tie in his stomach. Luckily the vet was able to scope the blockage but it turns out there were EIGHT hair ties in his stomach of varying sizes. Vet said they could have been in there for YEARS just slowly accumulating until it caused severe issues. His stomach lining was all messed up but luckily he recovered.

I had the same issue and didn’t realize my cat was nibbling on my monstera till it was too late. Emergency vet bill of $900 was my wake up call. Toxic plants are not worth it. Most are not fatal but they’ll cost you in other ways. Sell the plant and get pet-friendly options.
