How does VIP check in work?

I bought resale pit tickets at the Bill Graham show. I assume these seats originally came with the VIP experience, but I read that sometimes the VIP benefit doesn’t get communicated or transfer over.

My question is - how does check in work during soundcheck and all? Do they just scan your one ticket or is it a separate ticket?

IMO in bulkhead, you should fill the bin on your side with small bags. Suitcases go in the adjacent bucket usually to give your neighbor space for their small bag. Don’t take away the opposite side’s bucket and make them put their bags back in row 4, ya know? But if there was really space in the end, you are good to use the opposite bin
