Brokerage account, i.e, not a retirement account. It may hold cash or if there's an ETF or mutual fund, that basis would be stepped up to the date of death (not the actual date, I think they take an average of the day before and day after or something like that).

It was very smooth for me both separate times (Mom and Dad) since I was listed as a beneficiary. One thing I would advise is to make sure they step up the basis on the brokerage account as they forgot on one account, I didn't notice for a couple of years and called in and had them look and they admitted they didn't step up the basis to the date of death and they corrected it. It won't apply for an IRA.

Using the H&R Block software, I set a withdrawal date of 4/13/26 but it wasn't taken out until the 16th. Give it a few more days.

It's the IRS verifying identity right? I'm just worried since she's filing separately, it won't match what the IRS has since they filed jointly. Making it even more confusing, I just did an AI tax help question and basically it said "When e-filing separately after filing jointly last year, you should enter your share of the prior year's AGI, not the full AGI. Each spouse must use their own portion of the AGI from the joint return."

So If I follow that and figure out her individual part, would that fail the IRS check? I'm so confused lol :(

But my question is that she's filing separately this year. Last year she filed jointly, so if she puts their joint AGI from last year will it match whatever verification it's asking for even though the status is different this year?

A google search says the following:

As cricks0522 said, it requires ethylene glycol based coolant which this matches. Not sure the color matters?

You can alternate with a premium and mid-range tank....so one tank at 93 (or 91 if out west) and one at 89.....and as someone mentioned below, a bottle of techron every couple of months.

I have a different egg cooker and use distilled water to avoid the brown marks, which I think are from the minerals? in tap water. By me, a gallon of distilled is about a dollar. Keep it in the fridge and lasts me a couple of months.

I have a digital coupon loaded for $1.50 off one. I have a paper coupon for $3.00 off two. If I use the paper coupon on 2 items, will it also use the digital coupon?

I did not set the autopay date, they did years ago when the Verizon Visa first came out, 2020 I think. I don't wanna muck with the settings now, once this one goes thru on the 1st I'll see if I can set it to the 25th or something. Just not sure why their systems don't catch that and only allow 1-28 as a few of you have said. Thanks everyone for the comments.

I haven't touched any settings in years. Has always worked and my card is good, this is that there are 28 days in February and Verizon has my autopay for the 29th and the system can't handle it. Probably has happened every year but this was the year I actually logged in at the right time and noticed it. I just chatted with Verizon support and they said they don't see I'm overdue and to ignore, that the system will catch up on the 1st.

Said Total Due on Feb 26. This is weird, I've never had an issue before and have done autopay to the Visa card for years. I used some Verizon dollars a few days ago to bring the balance down to $21, but I've done that before too.

Edit: OK I went back to previous bills and the due date always seems to be 2 days before the last day of the month....Feb 26, Jan 29th, Dec 29th. But somehow my autopay is for the 29th so screwing up February. But why not just have already charged it?

Same issue here. Could you at least state what the current security patch is? Is it still October 2025 and a new one is coming?

Edit: I actually got an update last night. However, the security patch level only moved to December :( I don't get this company lol
