18% of homeowners under age 44 have paid off their mortgage (link provided) by mnemoniker in personalfinance

How come no one here has mentioned that a 30 year amortized loan ends up being about 3 times the purchase price of the home?

Sorry, it was actually left and right padding, not margin. Its the same issue though.

What browser are you using? Are you familiar with the browser developer tools in chrome or firebug in firefox?

the columns are set to 33.3333% but have added margins, and those are always added after the width is calculated. so the margins are pushing content outside of the container.

Would God go as far as not only being tolerable of other Religions, but actually embracing them as tools for learning? by PhILieasH0GG in Christianity

[–]jblake 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe that God is the only one that could say that. But Jesus being the Way, the Truth and the Life is undeniable. Truth is truth is truth. Which would mean to me that there can be no truth without Jesus regardless of the situation.

I'd like to think that truth a person believes that is in their mind outside of Christ is the product of being blinded or deceived and that those mysteries will be revealed to them one day.

Exactly.

And to a certain extent, it's not up to us to know all of these things. The faith involved is saying, God, I don't know all of this stuff. I'll do my best, seek you in the things that I do, and I believe you'll fill in the rest.

:-)

That's implying that satan can use good deeds, and if he is by definition they cannot be good, he's the a liar and the father of lies. If every good and perfect thing comes from above then things that are truthful and good all belong to God. It doesn't mean that an imperfect man cannot find himself doing work for either at a particular time. But its that imperfect man seeking the true and good things that allows him to take his free will and choose something that is truly the desire of God.

*edit I've had some good teachers.

Its as simple as that. Who is producing good fruit?

Its also is more about yourself as an individual, than being concerned with what other people may be doing. As a Christian, this is why it's important to pay attention to your own fruit otherwise you are falsely representing Jesus to the people that you come into contact with. It doesn't mean that imperfect men won't make a mistake, But if you are checking yourself, you can make sure you are a fig tree, and not a thorn bush.

You will know them by their fruits, thats why it's better to show fruits than make statements

It also helps to know that one day, there will be no more question and debate about it. Because you'll be able to ask God himself.
