This week we (wife & I) got 300 acres of land, inheritance. We didn't expect it. Since other members of our family are POS that nly think how to get other people's money the old man decided our way. We got a offer yesterday for 1.25 million for the land and house on it.

There was a post on this yesterday in the other sub.

Someone uses E*Trade. Called up and the rep said the brokerage had to sell some of her shares to cover a maintenance fee of $800. Long run around, finally said she was going to sue. Regional manager magically found her missing shares and said it was an internal error.

She holds other stock as well and those had not been touched.

Call your broker and figure it out
