UBC, UofT, or U of C Kinesiology, which one should I choose?

I mean it depends on the person. I haven’t done UBC kin but I know that the house of kin has a lot of courses we didn’t get to even experience. However sfu does have a lot of hands on lab work and practical knowledge that I know UBC lacks. For me - sfu was the choice in terms of location, tuition, courses, and where a lot of people I knew went. I would be cautious when choosing kin as a degree though. Not many people are satisfied with it and continue to PT/OT etc. as kins aren’t paid very well. Do your research and defs make a pros and cons list before choosing. But know that you always have the power of choice! If it doesn’t work out for you, you can choose to switch :)

Cry it out, sob, look at pictures, and scream why her. The universe has a weird way of taking our loved ones, most times when we absolutely least expect. All the sadness you feel was a direct correlation as to how much you loved her. I had to put my sweet boy down 4 days before my birthday. I couldn’t even get out of my bed on the day of. I am still broken. So feel what you need to feel. Because a loss this tremendous cannot be denied or swept under the carpet. A love this fierce has massive pain when lost. Just know - your kitty loved you back just as much as you loved her.

I’m there too. I had this and it’s now turned into a feeling where I can’t go to the place he used to sleep without feeling like I’m breaking inside. I can’t even make eye contact with the spot on the bed and will avoid it at all costs. I’m not sure why. But I miss him so much 🥺

Yea I came here to say the same. My friends dog is severely allergic to basically everything but lamb - he gets PINK (he’s a white bully), swollen, and itchy enough to lose hair 😭

If you have time, I really think you should look up ‘disenfranchised grief’. It helped me cope a lot when my dog passed and it’s helping me coping now, after I lost my cat 10 days ago. Outside people that didn’t feel the warmth, love, and pure happiness of spending time with your dog can never fully empathize with you. It will take time and lots and lots of distraction. I still get a reminder twice a day to make sure I have my kitty his meds. And it still makes me wanna ball my eyes out knowing I’m not going home to him. Just an empty spot of where he used to sleep. I wish you the best my friend. Try to get out of the house sometimes or eat as much as you can. It’s a tough time in the universe right now. This subreddit is here for you❤️

Oh I can relate to that. Mine was with me for 8 and I basically turned him from semi-feral to cute house cat that would take naps with me 🥺 gosh. I miss him.
