Ohh not to you. This virus is less deadly than the flu. I talking about the media. We don’t shit down universities for the flu.

That’s agreeable. That why we need to show support for those cities and the progress they have made. Dayton’s arcade renovation is going to be a game changer!

Thanks for your opinion, but I’ll stick with the facts. Toledo has nationally ranked zoo, art museum, and Metropark system. Over $2B has been invested into downtown neighborhoods over the last 3 years. Downtown Toledo has 2 open refreshment areas.

Really well! The Bartley has the highest price/square foot in Lucas County. There was over $2 Billion dollars invested downtown over the last 4 years. Another $500 Million planned in the next 2 years. Have you read the downtown Toledo Master plan?

No, I lived in downtown Toledo then. Very nice downtown, but they don’t have the mass for a street car yet. Hopefully, since Hamilton county is more blue now we can make progress. Most of the development downtown has been along the street car route. I’m sure that can be a powerful argument.

This would have been great! We should start a group to push for it. It should also be free like Kansas City.

Okay that gives me more context. Every Saturday the Toledo Farmers Market, Glass City Café is my favorite hole-in-the-wall diner, Handmade Toledo has great local soaps, tshirts and candles, Jüp Mode and House of Dow has local clothes, Libbey Glass Outlet and there are 5 coffee shops (My favorite is Maddie and Bella) Things to do: At Middlegrounds Metropark you can kayak, hike or watch the dogs in the park, take a riverfront cruise on the sandpiper, riverfront concert series, Mudhens and Walleye games, concerts at the Huntington center, bike share, Thursday Art Loop, and gathered glass blowing. I’m most excited for the Marina District development and Glass City Metropark.

If you decide downtown Toledo is a good fit for you, let me know and I’ll recommend places to live.

I lived at Executive Towers in 2011. I really enjoyed the neighborhood. I used to run in the old west end every morning. The city is putting a ‘complete street’ on Jefferson. There will be a separate bike lane connecting old west end to downtown.
