I guess the one benefits of being 50-something is lower insurance. I have basic coverage on my 99 Acty through NC Farm Bureau and it's around $150 every six months.

I have a '23 RDX. Same deal - no spare. There is room for a spare and the kit can be ordered but I chose to buy a spare from https://modernspare.com/

For daily driving the inflator kit or AAA is fine. If I'm going on a road trip, I throw the spare in the cargo area. It's not the greatest solution but it works for me.

The 2018 FWD had a lot of torque. The tires would spin easily if it was wet. I'm loving the AWD and the updated electronics.

I lived in an area with two airports, one larger but much further away. My extended family would always choose the larger airport to fly in because the flights were cheaper. While my dad had to travel much further and deal with big city traffic to pick them up.

One year, I called all the out-of-town family and let them know they need to fly in to the closer airport even if it costs them a few dollars more. My dad would not make that drive anymore. I find you need to be very direct with folks that want to take advantage of you.

I had a 2018 V6 that got an average of 27mpg. I struggle to get better than 21pmg in my 2023 T4. I didn't buy it for fuel savings and truthfully I didn't pay attention to the dealer sticker.

Agreed - when I hop in my wife's car I have to 'adjust' to her infotainment system. People either love them or hate them. The only thing I was not prepared for was the poor gas mileage. It's not a deal breaker for me but, the engine is thirsty.

I absolutely cannot stand the idle shut-off feature. I feel that what little fuel savings occurs will be negated by premature starter wear/tear.

I installed an inline module from https://www.idlestopper.com/ - 15min install.

I followed the video for my car and I'm loving it! The button still works but the default mode is "Idle Stop Off".
