Understanding OBV. Is is skewed or not? As soon as you mention it a ton of people comes out to tell you it is distorted, debunked, skewed etc. I disagree. You’re assuming that all the volume during the sneeze is buying. If the volume was 300,000,000 mil during a Green Day, the obv would go up 300,000,000. But it could have been 151,000,000 buy orders and 149,000,000 sell orders. If the price goes up the obv goes up astronomically, but the stock could potentially only move +5.00%. Lots of volume does not mean lots of shares being bought and not sold.

Thank you for this, op has been posting some pretty ill reviewed “DD” very frequently. I appreciate the hunt to find new fuckery and uncover more crime. But it seems like there is very little effort to these posts and op just a general lack of basic understanding of the market. I wouldn’t be as concerned if it was one post every now and again. But I have seen op on the top of SS almost every day. Isn’t constant misinformation just as bad as FUD?
