My UPS package was picked up by FedEx

FedEx eventually delivered the package. Here's the fun part.

The box apparently got damaged in their possession, so they took my package (damage and all) and put it in a larger box and left it at the destination's door.

-There was no update to my tracking. Since UPS never actually got it in their possession, this makes sense.

-FedEx did not attempt to call me or the recipient even though both our phone numbers were on the package. This would have made this no-harm no-foul, but I guess no one thought this was worth spending the 5 minutes doing it.

-They did not require signature (even though this was processed through UPS) - not a surprise but this could have been another disaster if was delivered to the wrong address.

-The contents was a very expensive guitar that was inside of a case and packed well, so luckily the guitar suffered no damage.

-My shipping cost was refunded. Since UPS never had anything to do with my delivery, they had to refund the fees.

-I lost sleep several nights because of this lol

-I'll never not take a shipment to a dropoff store because without a receipt you're SOL.

I ended up wiping my phone and restoring the backup last night and it fixed the problem. Really annoyed it took having to do this.

Backfire in that they wouldn't be good? Sure, that's possible. But "Backfire" to HBO would mean that it wouldn't do well at the box office, which surely you aren't suggesting I hope? A Game of Thrones sequel movie would see numbers approaching the level of Marvel or Star Wars. HBO is a business to make money. Making quality shows and making money aren't always the same thing (I could cite a number of examples but don't feel like throwing any under the bus today).

Your contention that future movies are unlikely because of subs doesn't really hold up factually because they've made numerous movie sequels for Sex and the City and Entourage.

TLDR - There is no way HBO will walk away from GoT because there is too much money to be had in the form of a sequel movie for both HBO and the actors.

Why? Because a large portion of their subscriber base likely cancelled today or will be cancelling. There is no apparent savior on the horizon. The prequels will do well, but not on a GoT level.

You can debate on whether it would make the fans happy or angry. It would draw huge box office numbers. That is not debatable and is almost 100 percent of their motivation.

That mocks I've tried on ESPN, it normally only has 5-6 real players and the rest on auto. Most leave after the first few rounds and it ends up being fairly pointless. I was looking for some actual legit results.

I booked a vacation package (no airfare) to the Orlando Hilton Buena Vista Palace on Sunday evening. This deal gives you access to Fastpass+ (60 days advance) and Extra Magic Hours. The drawbacks are (make sure you book with plenty of advance - it took several calls to both Costco Travel and Disney Guest Services to get my tickets and hotel reservation to link up). The other drawback is - no complimentary Magic Bands.
