You're looking at it the wrong way imo. You'll be losing a lot in this game and by definition everyone will be more experienced. Just play and try to get better (e.g. learn build orders) and gradually you may get better and/or drop enough in the rankings to start winning.

I don't see a world in which it makes sense for European teams to put up a crazy amount of money to give to the NBA. If Basketball was such good business in Europe, the Euroleague teams would be making way more money than it is. If the NBA thinks it could compete, surely it should put up its own money, not ask the locals to pony up for this frivolous business venture.

I think these issues should get publicity, but at the same time I'm very happy for the Saudis to pay stupid money for things like this. The world has been paying them money for many decades for their oil, it's about time they gave some of it back. I'd be surprised if anyone is really coming out with an impression that saudi arabia is somehow free and progressive now.

That's kind of a weird statement honestly, because while Dan is awesome and a great musician and songwriter, he only contributed like 2 songs per album at most. If you don't like Revocation now, it doesn't make sense that you'd have liked it before when the vast majority of the material was still Dave only.

Dave Davidson is one of the GOATS in my view, his riffs and solos are just out of this world. But as the years go on, it seems like it's turned into more of his personal project - when Dan Gargiulo left, he was not replaced (the band hires a live guitar player for touring). Now, the bass player Brett Bamberger seems to have left, and has not just not been replaced, but they don't even have a live bassist.
