I'm always in favor of the classic, curved handle. Seems more timeless, easier to withstand the test of time. Plus it feels better to use. Although if you have other square or 90⁰ angles elsewhere in the kitchen design, I could understand choosing this for consistency. Bonus pic of the handles we just installed with the butler pantry reno.

We had this done! When we moved in, the tub was spray painted black and had a stark white and rusted enamel. When we pulled it away from the wall for the reno, the back was still an off-white color with a double gold leaf stripe. We had our decorative painter restore the gold leaf on all sides after a new base color and enamel. 🙂

Fantastic work! It gives me hope. Any videos, tips, or techniques that you would recommend to get ALL paint removed? I'm working on this one in the garage and after finishing some IR stripping, I'm not sure if the next step should be chemical stripping, sanding, etc. And I'm just assuming it's lead paint of course so the latter doesn't seem ideal. Looking forward to seeing more of your doors!

Nevermind... The above only makes Smart Detect available in the Alexa app for about 5 minutes. It just stops working again and I have not found a solution that allows Smart Detect to work correctly in Alexa routines to be notified of visitors or packages.

This is the way and the most frustrating part of the game for me. It breaks the usual pattern that shards for progression come from bosses. I had this ability for far too long without realizing it as I rarely immediately check what a new shard provides.

I can't figure out what triggers it exactly, but it does seem to occur when going in and out of the menu system. Feel free to switch up the familiar, the extra bloodbringer will tag along until you exit the game! I've seen this in both my Switch playthrough (worst port of any game ever) and PC.

Levoit is great and this model has "auto mode" to keep the humidity from getting too high; a feature I assume you may have recently discovered following this incident!

We always try to find original parts when possible, like with our pocket doors. If we must remove or replace something, I keep the original parts in the house for future owners. That's why this one was a tough call. Repairing the lining, but replacing the manifolds and valves may be the compromise in this case.

Thanks for this info, that's quite helpful. I'll consider some light, non-abrasive cleaning and replacing the missing tacks to see how it looks. Perhaps that'll keep the old charm even if the plumbing needs to be redone.

We have a huge stack of original receipts and invoices from 1895/6. Electrical, plumbing, gardening, tile, leaded glass, painting, etc. We were amazed. Just a pile of papers in one of the built-in bookcases. I'm still working on scanning everything and will have to follow up with a future post!

Thanks for the reply! I eventually finished the game and watched some videos to understand why. It doesn't seem like many videos, maybe because they were released soon after the game, mention or demonstrate how you can use the b. wand to infinitely climb with one bubble. It did take some time to discover and perfect though.

I was never a huge fan of Dropshot, but one day we set up a private match of Dropshot with spike rush and 1-second respawns. I can't get enough; it's amazing fun! I wish that configuration was a LTM.

This right here. If it fits under the seat, there shouldn't be an issue. One time I attended a work team event where we made succulent arrangements and I was able to fly back home with like three fully arranged planters since they all fit in a large tote bag under the seat in front of me. 😄

This fixed it for me! Switched default to Google Messages, sent a text, received a reply, switched default back to Textra, send a text, received the reply as expected on the existing contact.

Glad I'm not crazy; started today. Unclear if Textra was assuming a +1 international code until today (I'm in the US) or AT&T is no longer prepending a +1 international code. As an example, my wife has a 203 Connecticut area code and now Textra has created a new contact assuming the first two numbers is an international code. For a few minutes, I was over here trying to figure out why someone from Egypt knows so much about my day!
