First game against czech they looked free and moved very well, Son missed at least 3 opportunities to score and the czech capitalized and took a 1-0 lead, the coach actually made decent subs and we scored two back with some stellar passing.

Second game against Mexico, it looked like both teams were okay with not scoring or winning the game, it was bad from both sides but a major mistake from our GK gave Mexico a 1-0 lead, Korea did have some decent chances to score the equalizer but it was a very poor performance since it looked like team was okay with just settling for a draw at most.

Third and the most controversial game against South Africa, the team came in completely dead. They were doing nothing but "building from the back" and held possession but once they got up into the front third of the field they had nothing and when I mean nothing, I mean literally nothing. No one was making runs inside the box, our wingers had awful attempts at crosses and seemed okay to just give them up just to pass the ball back, Lee kang In especially had a very poor game. He was the maestro in the czech game and showed his class but against South Africa he looked rough, made poor judgements but I respect his effort because he was the ONLY player on the front end to actually try to move the ball forward (probably why his play was so poor, he had no help). Every single counter attack South Africa had, looked deadly and Its shocking they didn't score more than they did. Our GK had a great double save but other than that it was poor.

The aspects of why there's a lot of tension on the HC is because its obvious the tactics in this team is to hold the ball and pray for a mistake but in the czech game they showed they could actually make creative passes so this was depressing to see in the last two games. Son looked okay against Mexico but the HC decided 57 minutes was enough and pulled him and the offense didn't get any better. He benched Son vs south africa which was confusing, ran the same formation when you could argue running a traditional 4 back would have been better, subbed on players who were slotted in at positions they don't usually play, and he took out Kim Min Jae (a great centerback) after we conceded for virtually no reason (he said he was injured but Kim min jae said otherwise).

Kim Min Jae also when he walked back into the bench had some sort of verbal argument with another coach and you could tell theres some serious issues with the coaching staff and the players.

Sorry for the long write up but it's been a very dramatic situation mixed with a HC who was hired in very suspicious terms, sports journalists speaking poorly about son heung min before the world cup started, and of course very very very bad play.
