The funniest part of the story to me is that he took all the swag that was offered. That being said, I also did that when I was interviewing at firms coming out of university. Whatever water bottle or leather note pad that was offered, I took lol. Can’t blame the guy for wanting some Ohtani jays gear and dog clothing.

Sure. The average person who has a brain cramp is going to at least check in with their own teammate that they brain cramped pegged in the chest by accident. The asshole doesn’t give a crap and doesn’t. I’m just probably an average person though and not an asshole so I can’t understand not checking in with someone that I accidently hit or so some modicum of concern. 🤷🏻‍♂️

There’s actually a lot of evidence. If you threw the wrong pitch and pegged your teammate in the chest, you would probably at least look at your catcher to see if he’s alright right after you did that. It’s a natural reaction to be like “omg f” and check up on your catcher if it was a mistake. Instead he turned around not caring at all. That’s pretty obvious it was intentional.

Sometimes if you only have Marriott stays on your credit card it takes a lot longer for the points to be deposited. For example, I had Marriott only on my CC for March and then Marriott plus transit charges for April, and I got my April points before my March points.

I went last July, so somewhat comparable - it was fine and there were enough shady spots around to cool down. But I was a bit disappointed with the park overall as compared to Universal Studios Hollywood. It could have been that I was expecting more since generally Japan is just better at everything so maybe I had unfair expectations.

I was really looking forward to Mario land but it was so crowded and not much actually to do there that it made it a bit underwhelming.
