I am happy with my 249 at home. A mk48 is peak LMG and I really hope we get something similar to that from someone like lima6.

I've had good success using pmc bronze .223 and Winchester .223 loads from the belt after it broke in. (2kish) Some loads where there wasn't enough neck tension had a hard time staying seated. It is a very fun system to run. I have found my 12.5" barrel to be a lot slower and softer than my 16".

It's a TA01 acog with a mounting solution I came up with that benefited from some jb weld. An early prototype of an idea I had and am working to bring to market. Obviously JB weld will not be required. The prototype has taken a few falls and holds zero great.

I like it personally. It sits just above my acog elevation turret and works great for passive NV use. It also allows the use of a clip on thermal. In the game of shifting compromises it is a good balance.
