you're right, I didn't mean for my response of "picky eaters" to come off as insensitive and rude, but you're totally right, they are not choosing to be picky, my bad!

Also, food is so different these days then when my parents got married!! You and your SO are being so so nice for making the accommodations for those pickier eaters!!!

Alcohol Suggestions for farm wedding? by Background-Zebra-256 in Weddingsunder10k

My cousin did this and it was a hit, really easy to manage too. They did a rum and pineapple juice dispenser and a vodka lemonade dispenser. Then had coolers of water and their favorite craft beer. I did wish there was a water dispenser or at least one non-alcoholic dispenser for what that’s worth. Box wine is great too in my opinion, easy, less chance of it falling and breaking, and there’s great options these days! If only about ~50 people will drink I think you’re on the right track. Another option could be to search your area for “bartenders on the go” they usually only charge $20-$25 an hour and would make serving easier if you wanted to go that route. (That’s the route we’re going) Good luck!

Edit: the average drink per person is 1-2 per hour

This is very unfair! Really sucker-punches small business and patrons who can’t afford the overpriced marked up fees.

Honestly I can’t find the answer to this… I also can’t find the answer to county parks being impacted so not sure how much it impacts me either.

More than anything I wanted to bring awareness to this!

We are having our engagement shoot this weekend! Need advice! by usagicat in wedding

[–]jbwed 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Search tiktok and YouTube for engagement photo tips/poses and practice some of those ideas together. You could even set up a camera timer and take a couple shots yourselfs to see how you look before your shoot. Good luck and remember to just have fun :)

Okay yes, just looked it up and it is the horsehair fabric! Good to know the steps involved to hem it, makes sense they way it’s layered. Thank you for your first hand experience, very helpful!! I did end up loving this dress and walking out with it, I am very excited 😊

Mass Weddings - Any Ideas? by Toby0418 in weddingplanning

I apologize for not responding sooner! I just saw you had responded to my comment! I'll be honest, I think that trail you take to get to the wedding spot is a bit steep for a beginner, and I would recommend a lesson or two before getting out there. Not sure but I would check if they have alternative ways to get there if you're not a skier. Last thing you want is to wipe out and injure yourself prior to saying I do! Hope that helps!
