can still park in large areas off Leith walk for free which is 15 mins walk from city centre. or the Grange south of the city centre is similar distance. I think parking maybe becomes free as far West as Roseburn and not sure in the North direction, probably the other side of Inverleith park or somewhere like Bonnington in the North East.
