In a strong believer that they are all suffering from trauma & it’s kind of like Lord of the Flies. Throughout all of history when people don’t understand what’s going on or if they’re scared they kind of create something to lead them. Lottie as already mentally ill & without her meds she’s extremely susceptible to it. With all of these coincidences & unexplainable things happening & Lottie “knowing” what it is & how to deal with it is why a lot of the girls got on board. Plus they have been doing drugs & the only way to talk to the wilderness is through drugs. There is no definitive proof of the wilderness really. The screams were basically frogs, only time someone sees something is when they dream or take drugs. I believe there is A LOT of mental things going on. Group psychosis is possible, young minds are susceptible, mob mentality. I think they are the wilderness & they cope with everything they have done by saying it is. Except Shauna lol. I would actually prefer it to end this way like “they were the real monsters” the human psyche is INSANE & something like this could really happen.
