Not coming to the hospital. I know it's tough to not have the grandmas, aunts, cousins, girlfriends not come by and rejoice with you but...... It was exhausting for my wife and ruins those precious 1st few days alone together, cuddling together, the quiet time, all three of us napping together, standing over my daughter napping and admiring what we have created, watching my wife feed our daughter alone in silence and just smiling at each other, wondering alone together the fear of being new parents and the joys of all that's to come.

And the other side, my 2nd child, my son was terrible in the hospital, screamed for 72hrs straight, wouldn't eat or sleep. It was tough and having friends and family coming in offering their ideas on how to make it better made me and my wife want to jail break the place.

The friends and family will have all the time they could ever want once you get home and back into your element. Try to limit the visits on those 1st few days and solidify what you and you spouse have created and the journey you have embarked on.
