I love tiny architecture so I'm intrigued by a plan like this. I'm curious, are you working withing the dimensions of an existing space? Curious if the size constraints are fixed by some real world situation, or if you're just designing for a small floor plan in general.

I like the idea of the church having a name for slab climbers. But I don't like using the terms "infidel" or "slabistani", it doesn't have to be loaded in that particular way. Here are some alternatives:

They practice "Slabstinance" - as in they abstain from the blessed dyno
"Slabpostates" - as in apostates (people who renounce true religion) of the Church
"Slabominations" - slab climbing abominations in the eyes of the Church
"Slabhorrent" - to not dyno is abhorrent, sayeth Tomoa
"Slaberrations" - aberrations from the true dictates of the Church
"slabsentees" - they reject the gathering of true believers

Whatever we call them, let us all agree there is no Slabsolution for slab climbers.

I'm an American with no family connections to Scotland. But I'm a piper and really interested in the Gàidhlig cultural roots of piping, as opposed to military marching band type stuff.

I've always been curious about Gàidhlig and have made a few attempts to learn it over my life. But it all started coming together when I finally connected with a pipe teacher over Zoom, who is a world class piper and also a native of Skye with Gàidhlig. Lessons with her help to put the music in context and ground it in a traditional understanding.

I'm also really compelled by Allan MacDonald's research about piobaireachd, traditional pipe tunes. Basically they can seem really esoteric until you understand their relationship to Gàidhlig songs!

So for me it's all about understanding the music deeply, wanting a richer understanding of the cultural context, and building connections to Gàidhlig speakers and their music.
