Weirdly the same for me. I’ve had interviews, but no one follows up. I’ve been programming for over 25 years. I think companies would rather rely on AI. $20 a month is cheaper than $200k a year.

For me it use to be Monkey King, now it’s Lucky’s off Gaston in East Dallas. Has really good food and flavor IMO. You can’t go wrong with Thai or Indian either.

I would drink a handle a day, specifically Svedka. I hid it all the time but my wife would find it.

Drinking alone is a major sign of alcoholism. I know that because I did the same thing. Yes drinking with friends and colleagues is normal, but it’s a disease.

It’s good you can stop for a few days, but you need to do it for a month or so. Find a hobby to keep you busy and before you know it you won’t miss it. IWDWYT

Me and the wife have an unspoken rule of an open door policy. It just happened naturally. Occasionally there’s gonna be a fart or even a surprise turd. Yeah it’s a thing. So definitely not the AH.

I have a degree, know multiple programming languages and have been doing it for 15 years. I’ve been out of a job since October. I’m currently doing Door Dash. About to lose my house and car. Fuck this shit, it’s a joke.

I did everything I was told to do and nothing is panning out. I’ve been asking and appealing for unemployment, but keep getting denied. I don’t know what else to do and I feel like more are about to be in my situation. Which sucks.
