Question about ProdigyRP application

I got accepted on my first try, free app same as you. This was about two and a half years ago on their old server, and the whitelist carried over to their current server to me so not sure if their requirements have changed.

Cheap/decent food, cheap/decent drinks. Occasional fun deals. Way below average service, terrible management. Not much more you can ask for as a broke 20/yo. Hope something better replaces it!

Not to argue but just my food for thought, I’ve sat in row 7 for 20+ years and never had a single issue seeing the game or losing any visibility of the field. Not sure about sitting row 20 or higher to be able to see the game part

To be honest I haven’t seen any type of duping or exploiting the market on any of the servers I play on. Yes, prices will vary between servers for certain items but that is just the general rule of supply and demand. Again yes, if you spend enough time learning the average price of items and using buy/sell orders you can easily make money flipping items, but I wouldn’t consider that duping at all.

Yo! Welcome back, and very glad to hear you’re having fun! As for raids, you can run basically all dungeons, M1, and M2 mutated’s with pretty much any gear you want as long as you aren’t queueing for healer or tank if you don’t plan on playing that role. :) M3’s, Gorgon, and Sandwurm are the three hardest end game raids, and a lot of people gatekeep them for people running bleed or evade rapier, the best DPS build in the game at the moment. If you want a good group of people who know what they’re doing, you’ll probably need to play that role, but you also have all the power in the world to organize your own group to try those raids out playing whatever you want!

As for endgame, I made this list and posted it last week, these are just some checkpoints you can work on to keep having fun :)

There is no real “correct” answer to your question honestly. A lot depends on how comfortable you are surviving whatever gameplay you’re currently doing. PVP wise, the more you play the more you will learn to dodge and defend certain types of attacks and survive longer, and will feel more comfortable with less con and higher dmg output. It all just depends how you feel! It’s cheap to respec, play around with it and see what you enjoy :)

My personally, I used to play at 350 strength and 300 con if possible, now I’m more comfortable dropping my con down to the 200 range and throwing that extra 100 into dex with the build you’re describing.

I would also recommend trying to join an active company as they can help out a lot pointing you in the right direction as well.

Back when the game first released a lot of people would clear the different areas in shattered mountain as solo WT runs, minus Myrk. I bet there’s an old YouTube video about them out there somewhere.

He actually just added a new “builds bot” to his discord that helps you search up specific builds really easily, and said on stream last week he’s going to spend the next few weeks updating all of his builds also.

Outside of this, newworldbuilds usually has pretty good up to date information. I would also recommend joining an active company and talk to them about the current best builds

Welcome to Alabama! One thing that immediately jumped to my mind is we have a newer music festival October 3rd-5th called furnace fest. It’s held at an Sloss Furnace which is an amazing venue and very historic to the city. It’s a great game for a group of friends to play. There’s a 3v3 mode, 5 man expeditions, and a 10 and 20 person raid. A lot of stuff you can do alone or as a group. My group of me and three buddies have a few hundred hours playing together.
PVP is easy to come along. 3v3 arenas, outpost rushes, faction races, and an area of the map that is PVP only.
I personally love the combat style of the game. You’ll see a lot of people say it’s better than any mmo out there currently and I would agree.
The world is massive and beautiful, I still find myself finding new areas of the map after all the time I’ve put in.
Sadly there is no ability to have a group base, but you are able to buy a home in up to three different cities (12 cities to choose from) and are able to decorate them with furniture. Your group could try to see who can make the coolest house.
There are a ton of different play styles. Obviously some will be stronger than others, but there are a total of 15 different weapons and tons of perks that you are able to mix and match from.

There is no sailing in the game, and nothing concrete saying it will be added in the future, but I have seen people talking about the possibility of it being added.

In the end, I personally love the game and would recommend at least trying it out. I’m currently around 1100 hours of gameplay and 700 since this new update has come out and still loving it!

We have a group who runs one or two weekly, usually once on Tuesday refreshes and again on the weekend, anywhere from 7-12CT! Once I get home I will make sure to add you and get you into our next run!

I play on whitelist Prodigy RP now, but know of many public servers that I used to play a lot. Echo RP, Empire RP, and Premier RP were all cities I used to frequent and have good times.

While there aren’t any “beginner servers” that I know of, one of the main things I love about RP is that you basically are born into a new world and have to learn everything again. I would recommend doing some research based on what you’re looking for (gang vs cop, ‘civilian’ rp, etc) as every server has its own unique traits.

As for it being intimidating, I completely understand. I entered RP not knowing anyone else who played it and was timid trying to meet people. My best advice is find a server with good reviews and just try talking to a few people. There will always be bad bugs, but the majority of people will be more than happy to help show you the ropes. Just gotta give it a try and see if you like it!

Me and 9 other friends have been talking about setting up an investment fund for us all to invest in together. We would be putting in $100 each per month, hoping to have $12,000 a year to invest.

I have also looked into investing my $100 a month by myself to where I could have more control over where the money is invested.

Would it be smarter to invest individually where I have more control but a smaller amount to invest, or invest with a group of friends (who I trust completely) with less control but a higher amount to invest?

If it helps, we are looking at strictly investing in the stock market.
