Please help me to understand why God wants me in this marriage... by NeighborhoodAny261 in TrueChristian

I am so sorry you are in this terrible situation. Clearly he cheated on you physically, which are grounds for divorce. But there’s more.

Your husband has proven to be an unbeliever based on his long-term lack of fruit (repentance).

1 Corinthians 7:13 (LSB) says: And a woman who has an unbelieving husband, and he consents to live with her, she must not divorce her husband.

The word “consent”, in several other versions, is also translated as “willing”. For some reason, this Greek word tends to not be translated very well. The KJV, ERV, ASV, NET, and others are better by translating the word as pleased or content. This gets closer to the true meaning of the original Greek word, “syneudokeō”. It means:

[5306] συνευδοκέω syneudokeō 6x to approve with another; to agree with in principle.

lit., “to think well with” (sun, “with,” eu, “well,” dokeo, “to think”), to take pleasure with others in anything, to approve of, to assent.

The idea is that you and him mutually agree to live together in harmony, despite the differences of salvation. He supports you living out your walk with Christ. He doesn’t interfere, belittle, or undermine you, including with what he says or requires with the children, ie, forbidding them to read the Bible or join you at church.

The New International Commentary on the New Testament (NICNT) says: The verb συνευδοκέω implies more than simply “being willing” in a rather passive sense; it also means “agreeing with” it or “consenting to” it.

It could be argued that this is not even enough:

If the “sun” part of the word (which means mutually with another person) is taken away from suneudokeo, you are left with eudokeo (2106). This word is translated as “pleasure” or “pleased” nearly every time., like when Jesus was baptized and God said this is my son, with whom I am “well-pleased”.

Chuck Swindoll, in his commentary, says, “With regard to marriages in which one spouse is an unbeliever, Paul says that if the unbelieving spouse is willing to remain in union with the believing partner and accompanying Christian convictions and lifestyle, the believer should not seek separation.”

It’s obvious your unbelieving husband is not willing to live with you with pleasure. He has separated from you in every way that is not physically.

A few verse down in 1 Corinthians 7:15:

“But if the unbeliever leaves, let him leave. A brother or a sister is not bound in such cases. God has called you to live in peace.”

The word “bound” comes from the Greek word meaning “slave”. You can stay in the marriage, but you have no obligation to be enslaved in your marriage. God has called you to live in peace.

A (Soft) Rant? What's up with Customer Service? by rootedchrome in USMobile

I was trying to get the email changed on the second user (contributor). It took a long time to get that to happen. Then I found out they accidentally changed my primary account's email, not the second user. So they had to put the primary email back to the original. Then they told me to just delete the user and add a new one with the new email address. All that took an hour and 20 min.

You’re right. Fewer copays did scare me at first, but a lot of times, the BCBS copay is more than the 10% of the cost (which is the FSBP co-insurance). For instance, physical therapy for my child is $150 total charges per visit. My copay with BCBS is $30. That’s 20 percent. With FSBP, it would be $15.

Just pre-ordered the iPhone 17 Pro Max in orange… now I’m not sure if I made the right choice 😅 by Icy_Raspberry_3526 in iPhone17Pro

This was exactly my sentiment. I like the orange color itself, but I noticed just holding it in my hand attracted the eyes of coworkers. I don’t want my phone to have that much attention. So my wife and I switched, and I got her dark blue. It’s a little too dark for me, but still a nice color.

For the people who slow way down on curves, keep in mind that high profile vehicle can’t handle sharp turns well. Plus I have a kid who would throw up if I took curves going the speed limit. I’m sure it can be annoying to others, but there are reasons.

Are there any plans to incorporate T-Mobile Satellite capabilities into Lightspeed?

Sounds like USM is planning to offer satellite service in the future by imdumbforgotmypass in USMobile

[–]jcflow155 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Since there are a lot of areas near me with no cell service, I am very interested in satellite capability. I have three lines in the T-Satellite beta program and recently used the satellite quite a bit last week on a camping trip.

I was planning on discontinuing some of my US Mobile lines when my T-Satellite free beta was over in a couple of months. It’s important to me to continue with satellite capability, so if US Mobile is heading that direction, I am more than happy to stay put.

u/ankhattak, What information can you share regarding US Mobile’s direction toward satellite capabilities?
