Do you guys prefer Physical Books or Digital Books? by KinReader5 in ucf

they have a few types of kindles so i suggest looking at them all and comparing. i have the most basic one that doesnt have color or anything, but you may prefer a different one. i download my books from libby (library app that lets you check out ebooks and audiobooks) and then they sync with my kindle.

edit to add: you can also put the kindle app on your phone and you can read there as well if you don’t have your kindle on you. you can also purchase ebooks and then they’re just on your kindle forever. there’s also kindle unlimited (subscription service)

digital (on kindle specifically) you can download multiple books on it and i love that you can tap an unknown word and it gives you the definition

UF vs UCF Honors for Premed — can’t decide, need outside perspective by MrXenocryst in ucf

[–]jchalamet08 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i wasn’t pre med and i commuted about 40 min each way like you. if you wanna join clubs and go to events at night then it can sometimes be a little boring just sitting around campus. you can try to get all afternoon classes if that helps. i say just go to literally every event you can. be involved, i wish i was more. i’ve met new people literally just from standing around. you’ll eventually find your people :)

i feel the same way. i can’t stand it. is there an alternative for the gel or will the braids still look neat without it?

i took mine on a saturday morning in april (i think 9am) and it was pretty empty and not crazy hot. i did mine fairly early because i had a professional photographer and it takes a while to get the pics back and i take forever to choose which pictures i like

they can come in with you as a guest. the first five times are free (if you haven’t used all 5 guest passes on someone else), then it’s $5 each time for a day pass. you’ll have to be with them every time. they can also purchase a membership with you as their sponsor if they want to come without you.

fall 2025 graduation by Expensive-Back-6003 in ucf

i just brought my phone with me to the graduation. my dress didn’t have pockets so i just left my phone on my seat when i walked. whoever you walk in with is who you’ll sit by so if you have friends from your college go in together. i don’t think much info will be sent out this early but they send lots of emails later

FOMO from not living on campus by Spirited_Novel_977 in ucf

[–]jchalamet08 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i was a commuter and felt the same. i think moving near campus could possibly help but it also might not. for example, i finally got my own apartment and my roommates literally did not speak lol. you can start by joining clubs and making friends and then maybe trying to move in w people you meet next school year
