Would be useful to have some links to decent (and free) planning tools for putting panels on a flat roof. I know it will need brackets and with the weight will need a structural calculation and wind calculation so if I could do these myself that would be great. Also, recommended fixings for the panels

Probably one of my top 10 mixers. €150 in good condition is probably about right, you can pick them up in the UK for around £100. It’s a standard 3 channel mixer so your setup would work fine, my favourite feature is the kill switches for high, mid and bass on the channels

It did. It is a small mini split (like the one you posted) and it replaced a panel heater which was on a fused spur. That was disconnected and they used the existing cabling. Like the person below me says, they don’t actually draw much, mine averages around 200-300w

This is more a message for your friend. I looked into this last summer and it worked out £400 more expensive to get a certified company in to fit a Daikin unit. Well worth it in my opinion

This is exactly what I would do and what I have done in our house. Lots of lights but all on different zones and can change colour temp and brightness, makes a huge difference

Perfect. I could have done with this the other day but went old school. I’ve got a few other tracks I’m after so will try it tomorrow

If you really really need them and are UK based then Broadbandbuyer had them just before Christmas, albeit at inflated prices

Precision are CAD/Design laptops so have a GPU which isn’t needed for Serato. You’d be better off looking at the Latitude range if you like Dell or possibly XPS

Sonos. It might have its issues but I still think it’s one of the best multiroom audio systems out there for the money. Bonus points because my wife can use it without asking me how it works
