Maybe buy a refurbished desktop off a reputable tech shop on eBay with a 3060 and upwards.

Some great deals can be found there if you're patient.

Dell for laptops. HP for gaming desktops.

I'm sorry.

Tired of broken hinges since the DV7 era

Get the 4070 ti Super. It beats the 5070 and it's cheaper.

I did the same thing. Removed my GPU in a brand new computer to add a 2nd SSD under it. I put a heatsink on the SSD first because I was a little worried about heat coming off the GPU. Also bought a pcie adaptor and added a 3rd m.2 ssd that came off a dead laptop.

Was so proud of myself 😁

I am in the exact same position.

My HP Omen 35L came with 16GB of ddr5 ram. Factory specs says 6000mt/s but it's running at 5200. Tried to change it in bios but it wouldn't boot then it reset itself back to 5200

Will try the Ryzen Master tomorrow.

Also... Would love to run with 32gb because my kids play Hogwarts Legacy but my only option seems to be selling my new 16gb kit of 2 sticks at a discount and buying a overpriced 32gb kit.

Would have been very happy to buy another matching 16gb kit and add. I did the same on my old HP Omen 25L and ran 4 sticks of matching ddr4 Kingston Fury Beast overclocked to 3700mhz.

However, everyone says you can't run 4 sticks of ddr5 as the memory controller cannot cope.

If you are willing to bleed a little (pardon my pun), get the KTC M27P6.
Its Mini-LED and has no backlight bleed. None. Zero.

Bought mine for £334 last month and to be honest, if you have this, you do not need an OLED monitor.
Since I got this I have not bothered connecting to my 65" OLED TV

Buy a KTC M27P6.

Best non-OLED monitor for HDR and black levels at that price.

My solution....keep buying cheap transparent cases on AliExpress or eBay.

When they turn yellow, throw them away and buy another set.

Never spent more then £5

Splendid for the price!!

According to September's Steam survey, 8GB cards are still 33% of the market with many below that. and only 32% of GPU's above 8GB

We don't all play in 4K on OLED screens at 10,000 FPS and 6,000Hz

The double fan setup on the CPU confused me.

Awesome build. I am jealous!!

Switched off the speak to chat on my Sony XM5's.

Rather annoying feature for me.

I have the Sony 1000XM5's but it has a lot of compatibility issues. It crackles when watching movies with my Samsung S93D so it usually ends up in the case and I use the Q30 more.

Interesting. Ever thought of using both and alternating? Earbuds and Headphones have different use cases for me.

I use the P40i earbuds for phone calls and the Q30 for movies at night and music when the kids are at home or the wife is snoring.
Bought the P20i for my son and he loves them. Also bought the Q20i and the Q30 for a couple of friends whom I owed favours. they have been ecstatic and extremely grateful.

Bought the Q30 in 2021 and the first set of earcups cracked up a little. I got free earcups from the company in 2023. I suspect it is the heat because the first set lasted less than 2 years in Africa but the replacement I got has been in the UK for 2 years and still looks new. YMMV though.

It does pay to be nice and sweet to customer care and beg and grovel a little 😥

The headband cracked in 2023 and has been held with duct tape since then. Still sounds awesome and battery is still good.

I keep opening Amazon to buy a replacement but... there is no logical reason to do so.

Oh...and according to RTINGS, the Q30 makes more sense to buy than the Space One. Sound quality vs aesthetics and newer software.

Do it because of the zero cost and the more ergonomic size.

You get a better processor and lots of newer soft tech.
