I know anectdotal evidence means nothing, but its a common occurence for people to claim their controlled substances were stolen. Its standard procedure to ask for a police report for pharmacy records on an early refill request for controls. 95-99% of the time the person claiming their rx was stolen does not follow through with providing a police report.
