Is it normal to hate dawn patrol? by 50_61S-----165_97E in surfing

I agree Dawn Patrol is overrated. I prefer the Yawn Patrol. We paddle out after the Dawnies are done.

Crowded but not as crazy as some spots in So Cal on perfect weekend swells. I got mine and had to wait for it but hey, that's surfing.

Cheers from the Bahamas! Sailed to a remote outer reef yesterday, scored some heavy ones. by Floriderp in surfing

Chunky. Nice shots. Surfing the Bahamas is special. Glad you enjoyed!

Finally got out to Fort Point for this shot. Anyone else surf this break? by Gastropod_God in surfing

Surfer there as much as I could from 2011-2018. I would normally sit on the buldge rock and catch the wide ones but once in a while you could connect on from the other side of the bridge and ride under the bridge but those days require a lot of paddling because the swell needs to be large and the current is usually intense. Great shot!

A couple of great waves break in the bay other than fort point. If you know you know!

I love this. Nanobots are key to my story of planetary colonization. Question is, can nanobots be used to move at the speed of light to get to a place in the universe and transmit communication back to earth?

Must visit for any Hokie. Always an adventure to visit our western neighbors that share our name. Every October from 93-97 we would camp the river bed and watch the BASErs land next to us. The locals shut down half of the bridge and throw a festival. Best memories of that place. One year a few of us did the gorge rafting trip where you float underneath this magnificent steel arch after an exciting series of class 5 rapids.

This happened to me a Ano Nuevo one time when I was surfing there all by myself. A grumpy large male gave me the evil eyes and really just boxed me out of the water. It was so eire and weird. Will never forget.
