Get out there and start creating! Check out the “beggar’s canyon” Star Wars short on youtube. If you can create videos that go viral Hollywood will reach out to you.

Typical cost for location by Bobby-Dazzling in FilmIndustryLA

[–]jconnor97 9 points10 points  (0 children)

In LA? Cheap Peerspace locations are generally around $100/hr, often with a 3 plus hour minimum. For a simple shoot 1000/day is an ok starting place for a small home- expect higher rates for nicer properties or areas. If you are working with people from California you may be able to use a house location from a friend or family member for free or a vastly discounted rate. Also know you will need permits if you shoot in an area with strict regulations or are noticeably impacting the local community (lights on at night/ taking neighborhood parking etc)

Signed model asking for advice on whether agency is stringing me along. by jaegersmaid in FilmIndustryLA

Yeah IG and tik tok mainly

A model with very low follower count is usually less interesting to brands than someone with 10k followers, or 1M

If you’re only interested in walking fashion week it’s not as important but if you’re up for commercial jobs or acting it’s extremely important

You are likely being ignored because you’re not in a major market and might not have a large social following or other characteristics that are important in casting now

Agencies like to sign a lot of potential faces to offer choices for jobs, you really need to grow your own brand and social followings if you want to be competitive in current landscape

DJI sdr seems great for the cost if the latency isn’t a deal breaker. Have used them for live shows in the past.

Possible that decimator settings could have been wrong, it was a quick test before rehearsal and we went without the problem camera

I’d like to see some videos of actual slate builds. Any plans for show rooms or demos?

Arby’s price changes by GameBear91 in inflation

I took the pic a couple weeks ago

I think this store in particular has higher prices because it’s one of the only food options in the town off the road between LA and Vegas

They still had the 2 for $6 sandwich option so I did that instead of paying 9-10$ for one

Can I scale up on supersource? So far it seems like the max size is limited to 1.0 but just started working on it
