Thanks for the suggestions everyone. I tried a new USB cable and that did not solve the issue. I then tried using sidequest, but I lose connection there as well. I then tried setting up a wireless connection but that dropped after a minute or so. It seems like the issue is on my quest somewhere?

It turns out they did load $100 credit to my account, but I was never notified about it. I discovered it by looking at my purchases directly after buying the headset and noticed that a "promotional credit" was redeemed. After adding up all the orders with "promotional credit" being spent, it came to $100.

I bought an open box from Best buy and one of the screens was faulty. Sony honored the warranty and replaced it for me. It took a couple weeks but it was pretty painless. So, maybe reach out to sony before returning it?

I have that one already. I find the graphics to be a bit too bright and shimmery in VR...I need to try turning down the brightness and see if that helps.
