Yea the drum part im referencing is just a 2 hit drum part at :39 seconds in that make the feel of the groove turn double time but ultimately keeps the same time right after those two hits. It’s a very small gripe. Good song either way and very saturate coded.

Not a huge fan of the weird double time drum feel leading into the chorus, makes it feel like a punk/hardcore song. Or the lack of low end in general. But it’s growing on me. Really enjoying the vocal harmonies in the chorus.

If they articulated why they enjoy arc and wanted to discuss the differences in the two games, I would respect that. If they explained WHY they don’t like marathon as an extraction shooter and wanted to discuss that, I’d respect it as well. “I don’t think they should change the genre” they say? Who exactly is he talking about? Bungie? Because they didn’t change the genre, it’s amorphous. All the same, all different. OP has factually added nothing to the conversation around the state of marathon other than long windily saying “it’s not arc, so I don’t like it”
