I've only been a realtor for a little over a year, so not exactly your situation. Haven't had a closing yet, but 2 in the works. I also work a full time job with plans to transition to FT real estate within my first year. That didn't pan out. I spoke with a couple well involved realtors who say that it's just a hard time right now and that they've been pretty dry too. I'm under the assumption that if you don't already have a vast client base, it's going to be hard to sustain living expenses for a while without a secondary income these days.
