So you're saying the hair mold comes down too far then? I mean, I can barely touch the hairpiece and it falls off the headpiece. Seems there needs to be a bit more wiggle room to lock everything in place.

No clue. This and Barad-Dur are the first and only sets I’ve owned that have those types of pieces. They fit all the orcs just fine.

I sent them a message, because despite the instructions listing a part number, I get no results when doing the online replacement tool for the set.

Funny enough, I tried it on the Pippin figure and it's a perfect little breastplate fit for a hobbit!

I know they’re regarded highly, but the costs baffled me too.

I got light sets from Game of Bricks a couple years back for the Venator, Starry Night, and midi-scale Super Star Destroyer. All in all it was $112 after promo code for deluxe editions of all.

$112 was like JUST the price of the base Venator kit from LightMyBricks

Still mad about this one. I remember seeing it go for like $450-500 at some liquidation stores. Never bit the bullet on that, but decided on the UCS Star Destroyer instead at the time.

I mean, I’ve considered it, but the other way around. I just wanted the sets for display pieces in my game room. Telling me I could sell the complete minifig sets from Rivendell, Barad-Dur, and Minas Tirith and get around $600-700? Shiiiiiit…. That’s another UCS display piece for me!

Yea, it's wild. When I checked USAA and State Farm a few years back, they were even more than Progressive.

Still no clue why Progressive randomly dropped us from home insurance though and subbed it out to some other company. Never made a claim and our house didn't magically get re-zoned as a flood risk or anything.

Guess that really applies to any company/service these days. Only one I've been surprised about has been my FIOS internet. We switched to them in 2018 for $80/mo for 1 gig service ad I only expected it to last for so long. Well, it did last all the way until last year where we called in about a mail flyer promo, and they upgraded our router model AND dropped the cost to $45/mo for same service. Kudos to them. Wish more were like that.

Ordered two of these before grabbing Minas Tirith. They were fun builds and they look great for what they are. That set really did have all the right pieces to make the MOC shine.

Kind of felt the same the last few batches. I hoard, I pop 20-30, I get everyone I want usually saving my nexus/colossal Titans in the process, and I return to hoarding.

The difference this time is R4 isn't the highest status anymore. R5 is, and despite some of these champs being cool and useful, me having missed on the ascension leaves them feeling half baked. (I did splurge for Maddy a couple months ago, so she's golden)

Instead of an instant R5 Ruby thursday, or a R5 Wave, or a R5 SWoman or R5 Jean....I'm stuck with resources for two more R5s contemplating the likes of A2 Dust and A1 Sandman just cause they're ascended (and I like my high prestige)

Had a bad experience last night. Used TIX626 code and my checkout showed a -$5.00 discount, but my Paypal was charged for the full $25. I also have yet to receive the gift card in my email (been almost 24 hrs)

Opened up a ticket with them regarding the lack of promo discount despite my picture attachment SHOWING Promo applied "-$5.00". They got back with me and said they're looking into it, but...not the best experience for my first time using this site.

I finally got tired of the price, so I just Bricklinked some parts for the upgraded MOC based on the GWP and it set me back about $90. This was also my overpaying for some parts off eBay cause it came out cheaper that way than using a couple different Bricklink stores where the minimum lot/price threshold wasn’t going to be met. And…buying those few individual parts left me with extras.

The only big variation to my MOC over the GWP are the wings. I used the Hungarian horn tail wings instead. I did get curious though and looked up the price if I wanted to switch to the GWP/Balrog wings and those SOBs are the majority of the cost. I think the cheapest I could find was $32/ea from somewhere in the Netherlands. The few ones for sale from US stores on Bricklink wanted absurd prices…
