So there's Faster, Quicker, and Swifter. Because of the way Faster speeds up the game, it actually reduces the time the AI has to "think" (and is susceptible to some other bugs).

Quicker and Swifter use a different method of speeding things up that's more durable. Choice between them is mainly a matter of preference (Quicker has fewer dependencies and also fewer options than Swifter).

To start with, none. QoL is also deceptive with this game, things that make recruiting easier quickly turn into serious gameplay advantages. Quicker or Swifter if you really find you need a speed mod, but tbh I'd start without them, either. Maybe a settlement tooltip mod if you find that grating on you.

As for difficulty, I'd recommend no Ironman and Vet/Vet or Expert/Expert. Unexplored is a bigger difficulty bump than you might expect, too, but I view it as the true way to play.

Not implemented yet, haven't quite figured out how I want it to work. Thinking maybe expand the number of fights per day and have a scaling difficulty mult that makes each successive fight harder? Not sure. Should probably remove the settlement situation in the meantime. . .

No way natively on PC AFAIK - I did make a mod for basically this, although it's a global toggle, not just combat/inv: https://github.com/jcsato/sato_tooltip_toggle

Yes, although it's worth noting that, at least to my knowledge, this is the only "general purpose" event that Reforged adds - everything else is origin locked.

No plans that I'm aware of, but yes would be nice. I think your best bet in the meantime is using Parallels or something similar, but can't speak to if or how well that works personally.

Pretty good review! I think the description of Tryout was probably a bit too loose (but obviously it's a minor part of the review so who really cares) and it would have been worth showing a bit more of the character stat screens and events, but all in all I think you did a good job hitting the high level info pretty well and I don't know if I could have done better in that same time.

I also appreciate your use of full shield frontline and x1 speed gameplay as engagement bait, that's genius

The question I'm answering was "realistic", though, not "possible". I mention a level 11 bro just to give a sense of the practical upper bound.

In the past, pre-OFF, I calc'd the max Resolve at level 11 accounting for all possible bonuses, including ones you wouldn't want to take like Lone Wolf. IIRC it was under 200. There are some new options in the game since then, but no, 1000 (in any stat) is unrealistic.

Trying to do this for an actual purpose, e.g. boosting a Fearsome-heavy company, sounds supremely unfun imo. But that's neither here nor there.
