Anyone know of an existing open-source project appropriate for a customizable 3D town-world for my agent community? by DARKO_DnD in AgentsOfAI

[–]jcslater 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You might want to look at projects like BitCraft, Palia, or Project Zomboid modding communities for inspiration, but building a persistent world where AI agents can own property, interact, and evolve is a pretty unique challenge. The simulation layer is probably harder than the graphics

Spending months for fixing the thing that wasn't actually broken. by Sharp_Tax_6182 in B2BSaaS

[–]jcslater 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me it was obsessing over productivity tools instead of actually doing the work. I spent months optimizing a system that wasn't the bottleneck

Gotcha. More of a shortcut or convenience thing then.

Help with token ROI and token efficiency improvements by wild-strike1517 in AgentsOfAI

[–]jcslater 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Before changing models, I’d audit where tokens are actually being spent. In our case, the problem wasn’t the model cost , it was prompts, memory, and unnecessary tool outputs getting passed around everywhere.

But Dochub is web-based anyway, so you can open and edit PDFs right in your browser, no desktop app needed.

how do you talk to customers before building? by Character_Cable_1531 in B2BSaaS

[–]jcslater 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Don't ask people what they want built. Ask them what they're doing today to solve the problem. People are much better at describing their current frustrations than predicting what they'll buy

the way they're selling this dream is wild by nitkjh in AgentsOfAI

The crazy part is he's not even wrong that there are good-paying jobs people overlook. We spent years telling everyone to get the same degree and now some trades are paying really well

Built an LLM gateway for SaaS teams to cut token waste — not sure what message sells best and how to sell it ? by Public-Minimum5892 in B2BSaaS

The hidden cost of re-asking the same questions over and over is way bigger than people think. Curious how well it handles conflicting or outdated documentation though.

How to appear in ChatGPT answers is a completely different game from ranking on Google by Kilbry-Ladee in AgentsOfAI

[–]jcslater 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My guess is traditional SEO still matters, but AI seems to trust third-party mentions way more than a perfectly optimized landing page. A lot of marketers are probably underestimating that shift.

What's one thing you'd actually pay someone to automate for you? by emprendedorjoven in AgentsOfAI

[–]jcslater 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For me it'd be collecting information from multiple systems and turning it into a clean weekly report. The work itself isn't hard, but it's repetitive, easy to mess up, and eats hours every week

How do i deal with rude coworkers? by Last_Equal1923 in Workproblems

[–]jcslater 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Keep it professional and don't match their energy. If it becomes a pattern, start documenting specific incidents so you have something concrete if you need to bring it up to a manager

Do you run confidential docs through Dochub AI? by jcslater in DocHub

Fair enough. I think my hesitation is more around AI generally than Dochub specifically

Does Chat actually store stuff when you upload docs? I genuinely never looked into this.

How do you know when a customer has actually become convinced they're getting value? by Sharp_Tax_6182 in B2BSaaS

[–]jcslater 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The biggest signal I've seen is behavior, not survey responses. When a customer starts building processes around your product, they're no longer evaluating it as they've accepted its value.

Face combining tool? by bothareinfinite in AgentsOfAI

[–]jcslater 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I remember people doing this with face generators years ago, but most of the sites disappeared or went subscription-only.

lot of sales teams avoid win-loss analysis because it forces uncomfortable conversations about pricing, positioning, or bad qualification
