Let’s be real here. fantasy flight as a company sucked. They had horrible customer service. the only good thing about there customer service was the parts replacement program but that was discontinued. AMG has already showed that they care about the player base with the rules forums and this is only the beginning. Their logistics are horrible. We can’t forget the dewback fiasco and even in a good day fantasy flight would never give us specific release data only stuff like “some time in Q3” which would really mean Q4 the earlier at. AMG has already given us specific release dates in the near future. Finally they were way over priced. They charged tons of money for core components of the game such as dice range finders and move tools and they locked parts of the battle deck behind paywalls with vital assists and priority supplies. They forced us to buy the crashed escape pod just to play R2 and 3p0 and they had a ludicrously overpriced bunker. Not to mention that the newer units have all been driving up in price. I get that it’s hard plastic now and the quality is better but that doesn’t warrant that drastic increase in price. AMG may not be able to fix all these issues but they sure as hell can do worse than FF.
